Why is it that on the eve of all of my latest planned spells do I wake up sick as a dog? I finally have everything that I need and I am ready to go! Or I would be if my head didn't feel like a brick and I had that ability to take a deep breath. Dammit!

Now, I have to wait until I am feeling better. I was kind of hoping to get this whole thing taken care of ... you know, get some answers and make whatever adjustments are needed or just get back into the regular swing of things. Perhaps that is hoping for too much. I have this sneaking fear that this will only be the beginning and things are about to get weirder and scarier from here.

On another, more mundane note, I think my cat has a cold too. He has been sneezing all over the place the last few days (specifically in my face so that I don't miss it). I am a little worried about him. I didn't know that cats could get colds, and I really don't know what I should do (if anything).

On the plus side, feeling this crappy has allowed me to get some knitting done. I stole [livejournal.com profile] pendamuse's idea and made some dark crimson Opera Gloves and laced them with black ribbon. I love them! They were so fast! Now I am thinking of making myself a new toque. Or a Patchwork blanket ... I do have a lot of scrap yarn.

I promised to teach my brother's girlfriend how to knit, so I am gonna have to find something fun and easy for her to start with too.

Anyway, that is the news (and whining) from me. Enjoy your regularly scheduled day.

Ohh sorry you are sick. The cat could have an upper respiratory infection. That is why mine used to sneeze. Darn cat was never around other cats and yet insisted on getting these infections every couple of years! I am clueless. Watch kitty carefully.
I gotta say I envy you guys who knit - I am all thumbs. I think I will stick to my candle making, sewing and other crafty things and leave the knitting to you! :-)

Sorry to hear you're under the weather. May you feel better soon.

As to the cat. Cats don't get colds like humans do. If he's doing a lot of sneezing you may want to have your vet check him for rhinotracheitis. It's a respiratory disease cats can get that can be fatal if not treated. And remember that if a cat cannot smell its food it's apt to not eat. So do get your baby checked out.

Darn I thought my Nike was the only one who lost her hair. I curbed some of the yowling by placing Zach (my freinds cat) in a pillowcase. This way he could move around, breath but not see what exactly was going on. The crying is heartbreaking when they are in the carriers isn't it?
I hope he feels better and the vet can help out.
