Yeah, not really.  I just wanted to say that :P  I think I have narrowed it down to Harm or Healthy Living.  I have a half written article about Hugs, etc, but I realized that it doesn't really tie back into Paganism/Witchcraft in any way, so I may or may not finish it.  If I do, it probably won't be for the PBP.

Started researching Honey.  That article could be cool, but it will be a lot of work, and I'm not really sure I'm up to it right now.

Harmony would be a nice subject to contemplate, but it's really important to me that I don't write an article that is just a basic regurgitation of what everyone else is going to write but with better grammar and a bigger vocabulary (yes, that was me being a snob again :P).  I guess if I forgo the environmental route, I could do Harmony.  I'd have to come up with a clever title, tho.

Gah!  So many ideas and yet none of them are blossoming.  I hate writers block.  Maybe I'll cheat and wait to post my H until next week so I can get inspired by someone else's posts.  Though, these last few letters haven't really provided anything to be inspired by.

H ... hare, heart, hearth, hate, heaven, hell, hamburger, humbug, help, head, hands, harmonica, hermes, herne, hunting, hunted, hotdog, heat, hard, harried, horror, hat, hammock, haven, helen, horse, horseshoe, hoarse, hearing, habit, headscarf, hauntings, herbs, Herb the horny hand towel.

Maybe I'll write about the Discordian law of hotdog buns.

H Ideas

This is mostly a post-it for myself.  However, feel free to comment if you have ideas or suggestions.  The Pagan Blog Project is currently on the letter G, but it usually takes me at least a week to get a decent post put together, so I start writing my next letter about 10 days in advance.  Which puts me on H.

There are a lot of H topics I would love to write about, but I'm having trouble picking just one.  Here is the list so far:

Hugs, Healing and Pocket Humanity - this would be about how the interwebs have helped to usher in an age of anti-social society, and how more than the earth needing healing (the earth adapts), we need to work on healing humanity.  I would also throw in the free hugs video for heart-warming appeal.

Happiness - this would be about finding the simple joys in life, and how much I've learned about being happy from my daughter.

Harm - this would be a breakdown of what the adage 'a witch who can't hex can't heal'.  There are a lot of Sacred Mists brand priestesses around these days, and I am tempted to rub their faces in the dirty edges of the Craft (there are also a lot of people who are doing 'Shadow Work' that they think is about facing your fears and then whining when it leaks out into the rest of their lives - but that rant can wait for later).

Honey - I would love to explore the magical properties of honey and bees.  Went to the farmer's market yesterday, and they were selling great big buckets of it.  I really want to buy one just to say I have a BUCKET of honey!

Organic Pagans: Healthy Living - this one is an idea held over from the LOTP website.  It would be an exploration on cooking from scratch, buying organic on a budget, getting exercise and how obesity is not a lifestyle choice.  There seems to be a contingent in the Pagan Community right now who think that because there is a call for healthier living that that means that everyone expects Pagans to be skinny, and that there is all this prejudice against plump Pagans all of a sudden.

Hair - this one would be a look at how hair has been prized historically, and how it relates to a person's self esteem, and different cultural/religious views on headcovering and whatnot.  It would totally start with a youtube video of the song from the musical 'Hair'.

Herbcrafting - this would be a fun, light hearted article detailing spring and herb crafts and gifts.

I guess it comes down to tone.  Now that I have followers, I'm starting to think of these articles as less for me and more from me.  I'm not sure I want to preach at cyberspace, and I'm not sure I want to steer clear of controversial subjects in an effort to keep from upsetting the neo-fluffs.

I may also give up my tumblr account.  I haven't found anything that wasn't fluffy or goth-fluffy there at all.  It's kind of been a big waste of time.

My post for the letter F is done and scheduled to auto-post on Friday, along with two weeks worth of book reviews.  My blog is finally starting to look somewhat professional.  Yay.

I also have a post in mind for the letter G, but I'll need to refresh my memory a bit before I start writing that one.  Plus, I'm not sure which direction I want the article to go.

I'm thinking about pulling back a bit again in terms of the online Pagan community.  I don't think I have the stamina for it.  I miss being able to help folks, and I really wish I could put TeenWitch back up again.  I do still have the WP domain.  I might start compiling useful articles, but that will probably be a back burner project.  I don't even have a design for that blog yet.

Exhaustion. Elementals. East. Extremism. Education. Entertaining. Easter. Eggs.

Lots of topics.  Not sure if there is a full article in me for this letter.  I am thinking about Education as homeschooling seems to be the first choice of a lot of Pagan parents (and there is a teachers strike going on back home in BC right now).  Personally, I think that homeschooling is a mistake.  Public schools may have their problems, but I've seen the results of homeschooling, and it only illustrates to me that there is more to school than math and reading.

Extremism is another topic that I am interested in exploring.  TPC seems to have a bad habit of jumping from one extreme to the next without a whole lot of thought.

Entertaining would be a whole series of articles (or a book really). Everyone likes a good Sabbat/Esbat party.

I'm also really excited about the fact that L'il R's first Easter/Ostara is coming up.  Maybe a good Easter story for the kiddies?

Hopefully inspiration will strike soon.

E is for ...

Does it shock anyone that the E posts are dominated by the topic 'Eclecticism'?  Yeah, me neither.
D was a difficult letter for me. I was thinking of doing a post on Dowsing as the pendulum is one of my favorite tools. But I thought that I might save that for down the road when we hit the letter P. That would allow me to fully explore the pendulum in all its glory.

Then I thought that I might do a post on Deosil. I decided against that when I started doubting my ability get an entire blog post about ‘sunwise’ written without sounding like a school teacher.

I was running out of ideas, so I started poking around on the PBP Facebook page to see if anything posted there might help to inspire me. And as it happens, it did.

Ta da!
This is my “C” post for the PBP, (read back a few posts if you’re not sure what that is) but it is also a post that I think is really needed in the vast array of online learning resources.

Centering is often a term that is paired with Grounding – as in ‘Ground and Center’. However, the technique of Centering on it’s own seems to be overlooked. This is a shame since of these two skills, Centering is the one you’re meant to learn first.

Your center is your core. It’s where your stability and strength comes from. All your future energy work is built on this foundation. Without foundation you end up with slanty floors and cracked ceilings.

Not really sure what to do for my B post.  I was thinking of doing something on Brigit, since I am finding myself leaning towards her lately, and it is getting close to Imbolc.  Also there is Borage - getting back into herbs would be good for me (if I bit challenging without my books).  Also could do Boline.  Or maybe Babies. Or ... ? Baths, maybe.  Ritual Baths ... but that may just lead me into a wordy drool over clawfoot bathtubs and the general awesomeness that they are.

Maybe bowls.  Offering bowls?  Pottery?  Hmmm, maybe.  Any thoughts?
Originally, I was wanting to go with Ancestors.  Ancestor worship and tribal connection is a big part of my path. There have been a lot of posts about Ancestors these last two weeks if you follow the PBP on Facebook.

As I began to write about my ancestors, I found something else was taking shape in it’s place.  Something that has needed working out for a while.  Something that will need to be completed before other work can really begin:
