While I am impatiently waiting to see the tat designed for me by Mattie (I can't wait for the box to get here ... slow mailman!), I have thought of another design that I might get done if I don't completely wuss out on the first.
I have always thought that a great place to get a tattoo would be right on the rounded part of your shoulder (great for circular tats anyway). And I have one design that I have always loved, my spiral sunshine. I was thinking about what the spiral symbolizes for me, and thinking about how I would incorporate a trance symbol into a lunar image ... and then it came to me ... the labyrinth moon.
A full moon (realistic, like a photo) with the labyrinth design as fine line shading on the darker part of the moon. So that the labyrinth would be darker on one side, and then fade to nothing on the bright side. It would require finding a tattoo artist who was very talented at fine line shading, but I think that it would be one of the most unique images out there.
That is my bit of rambling for today, just thought I would share ~_^
