I use reversed cards in most decks I read, but not all of them. And I prefer smaller cards not 'cos my hands are small (although they are) but because I have trouble clearing large open space for readings with big cards. Also, I love miniatures of all sorts; if there's a big version & a small version, I want the small version.
Maybe with my ridiculous icons at IJ, I can make an all-icon Tarot deck.
I don't use reversals...I suppose I could...but my anal retentive control freak self prefers the order of having them all upright...
though, I have read reversals on occasion (like if a couple jump out of the deck during the shuffle and land that way) but for the most part..not really.
I said larger...though they're not all that large are they? Granted they're bigger than a stack of normal playing cards, but..i don't really have a preference one way or the other. Both decks I've used are standard sized.
Yeah, I have that bit in my mind too. Sometimes I do use them (when the back of the cards are designed so that it isn't REALLY obvious which way the cards are.
I don't think it is entirely necessary. There are plenty of other ways that the messages can come through. And it give me SO much more to remember ;)
