Well, I am sneaking up on size 12 as if I were about to lift its wallet. I can no longer wear the size 14 capris and jeans without a belt. Yay me!
Also, I am now officially a size 38DD (threw out the 40 DD bras today because they were really just too big), which presents some interesting challenges. Like bikini tops. Is there a good place online where I can order a bikini top that will actually fit me? Apparently, even the extra large and plus sized ones seem to be designed for woman with boobs no larger than a D cup.
While I am a little miffed that the whole 'Oh, your boobs will shrink once you start losing weight' line turned out to be a crock, WD seems happy. Now I just need to tone up my back so that I can properly deal with the twins.
I have been wanting to do some more toning work on the core area. I think that I am going to end up back with yoga. It always makes me feel very graceful, and while I have no room at all to do it here, I can now afford to actually take a class. Also, I am hoping that at a class I will have the help of someone who can figure out alternatives to the moves that like to choke the life out of me - like many of the upside down ones that cause the boobies to rest on my throat.
I am gonna go back to the doc tomorrow. No more putting it off. I am getting the inhaler refilled and getting a new rescue inhaler. I have tried the natural/vitamin route, and it does help, but not enough for me to be as active as I want to be. And while I probably could up dosages and add new vitamins to help out, but I already take WAY more pills everyday than I want to. Four puffs per day verses nearly ten pills (on top of the vitamin C and fibre I already take)? I think I'll take the puffs, thanks.
I have more to write about, but I think I will make new posts for the other stuff.

Date: 2007-07-17 08:39 pm (UTC)Land's End is a lifesaver. I've had good luck with their D-cup swimwear - many of the styles are comfortable for DDs. They also do custom-sized suits and mix-and-match pieces, with DD being one of the "standard" custom sizes.
Their stuff is a bit pricey, but *really* good quality. And they're comfortable and reasonably supportive - I've never had any problems with bounce, or with "falling out" of their stuff. (I range from a 38D to a 40DD+ depending on my current medical cocktail. Corticosteroids do strange things.)
Torrid also has some decent tops for well-endowed lasses, but the selection is VERY limited, and the quality isn't as good as Land's End. (Although the prices are almost as much.)
