1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog, along with these instructions. (does this mean sentences after the 5th? or including? i have poor english language skills) *I put in the 5th sentance and the next three*
5.Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.

"I don't mind.  There's worse things.  Anyway, you always remember how to fuck.  Sometimes when you fuck me once you forget that you done it and you do it again."

From Starhawk's Fifth Sacred Thing (I am really liking this book.  Starhawk writes good fiction).

I love Fifth Sacred Thing.

The two books closest to me sitting at the computer are the Oakland phone book and Roget's Thesaurus, 5th Edition.

Neither of these has "sentences."

I'm at work. The nearest book is Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations of the United States, Parts 100 through 185. If you really WANT to know about Special Permits for the transportation of hazardous materials...

HAZMAT rules are *fascinating*

I love that going through PA on the Turnpike with HAZMAT is a no-no, but driving a semi through those twisting, narrow, steep old roads nearby is preferred by the powers that be. I will never figure out this notion.

I am required, as a condition of employment, to maintain currency as an all-modes-of-transport HAZMAT certifier and inspector. A copy of 49 CFR lives on my desktop.

We could swap stories - I have 21 CFR - Parts 210 & 211 (FDA) on my desk.

Page 51 is on Batch production and control records - excellent reading

Would you like to know what the specifications are for railroad tank cars used to ship sufuric acid? Or how often one has to conduct hydrostatic pressure tests on acetylene cylinders used in interstate commerce?

Hello

I can't be bothered with anything these days, but shrug. I just don't have anything to say recently.

G'night
