Gratitude Finale 2006

I obviously haven't kept up with this this year, but I would like to finish it off since I am back earlier than anticipated.

I am grateful for my friends. I really missed you guys. And while it was nice to embrace real life (and I intend to try and keep myself from falling so far into cyberspace in the future), I do love having folks to bounce weird ideas and thoughts off of without fear of the 'are you nuts?' look ;)

I am grateful that I have people to share this holiday with, and that I have money enough to provide a delicious meal for them (I hope).

I am grateful that even though things seem pretty crappy right now, I know that our problems are temporary, and we have the ability to coast through the bad times without too much trouble.

And lastly, I am grateful to be me. I may not be all I want, but I am happy with who I am. There is value in how I see the world and how I experience it. And while it may never make me a miliiionare, I can be satisfied with the joy it brings to me everyday. And who knows? Maybe someday I will get my dreams, ideas and stories to mesh with eachother ;)

On the Lookout

... for a new mood theme. I want something a bit darker for the coming Halloween-y season. But something pretty, too. I may bug crackified to make me something from the movie 'The Others' or 'Underworld'. If in your searchings you see a theme that makes you think of me, please give me a heads up ;)
