WooHoo!

So, I was going through my old emails (my inbox is getting full, and I went back to delete old LJ notifications), and I found the reciept from my Circle Sanctuary magazine. Turns out that I actually had paid for that sample magazine (and promptly forgotten about it). So, I did end up writing to them and explaining what happened. They wrote me back this morning, and they are going to send me out another one next week. Woot!

This time, I hope that they tape the envelope closed, and if I get a "mysteriously missing" magazine again, I am going after the post office and they can refund my $6 (and they can ask the Province about how tenacious I can be when I am pissed off).

Hooray for me!

Update Completed

Yay for me again! My website update is finally up ... there isn't a lot new there except for book reviews, but I feel better for having actually finished it. Now, to the site redesign ... so many decisions, so little time ... agh!

I think I will do one more update before I get into the really nitty gritty of remaking the whole thing ... some stuff on tools, and a rant or two ~_^

Wife Swap

Leaving aside the absolute extremes of both of the families involved, the show seemed to have ended nicely. Both families learned something valuable from eachother. I didn't care much for how they seemed to portray a Pagan lifestyle as detrimental to both men and families, but I didn't much care for watching a woman allow herself to be treated like a slave, either.

All in all, I think that the producers of this show should be strung up naked by their toes and whipped repeatedly with leather straps coated in broken glass for a live studio audience (do you think that would finally see the end of reality tv?)
