Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In June I put money in sillycowfreckle's expired parking meter (14 points). Last Tuesday I signed my organ donor card (28 points). Last week I farted in an elevator (-6 points). In March I helped brigidashwood see the light (8 points). In May I stole curefreak's purse (-30 points). Overall, I've been nice (14 points). So Much For Getting Up To Speed ...

... I got sucked into re-writing almost the entire section from back when I was a teenager (which was upwards of 6500 words to start with), and now so much is different that I am going to have to re-write a lot of the next couple of sections as well. It is a lot of work that I wasn't planning on doing just yet, but the plus side is that by the time I actually get to the parts that haven't been written yet, I should be in full swing of the story again.

With the reworking and rewritings, I am up about 800 words (I added a couple of flash backs, and removed a character entirely) ... which puts me at roughly 56 500 words. Yay for progress ~_^

Wren's beautiful and magickal daughter Skye passed over today at 12:10 EST, just one day shy of her 34th birthday.

I remember reading updates on Skye, and being amazed at her strength in fighting the tumour. She will be missed.
