ENOUGH!!

The next person who asks me "When are you going to finally get married?" gets poked in the eye with a sharp stick (and their invitation to said wedding gets fed to the cat!)! I do not need to get married just for the sake of being married. It isn't like a really expensive party is going to change my day to day life (besides costing me upwards of $400 to change my ID). I am not going to compromise on the kind of wedding I want because I am in no rush (and right now I am poor). It isn't like Wintersdark is going anywhere.

Also, for all those in my circle of family and friends who seem to think that I am wasting my potential by working part time in a grocery store rather than going back to college and getting a better job, you are right. If I really wanted it, I could get a second job and go to school at night. If I really wanted it, I could make it happen. But you know what? I am not interested in losing the precious little time I get to spend with my fiance. I sometimes go days without seeing him as it is. There are things in my life that are more important than college right now.

And I'll have you all know that I design graphics and webpages, I am in the middle of launching a magazine, I run a forum for teen Pagans, and I have written articles that have been published all over the web. Just because my paycheck happens to be signed by Superstore doesn't mean that I am wasting my life. I AM NOT MY JOB!!

This rant brought to you by nagging relatives and people who don't really know me anymore, but seem to figure that they have a right to tell me how to live my life >_<

Well, today I am grateful for my brother. We didn't do much today ... went grocery shopping and clothes shopping ... but it was fun spending time with him. He also makes a mean smoothie (it's the peach flavoured rum ~_^).

Also, I am grateful for the rain. The heat wave finally broke last night with a hard, cleansing rain (and it is raining agian tonight). I love the rain ... the world smells so fresh and clean (and my plants are grateful for the break in the heat as well).
