So, with everyone going on about knitting and such, I decided to finish my new sweater that I started a few years ago (to replace my well loved ugly house sweater).
A couple of days ago, my fiancé wanted to pick up a new chopper magazine, and I went too, hoping to find a certain decorating magazine that I really enjoyed, but seems to not be carried in Canada anymore. We went to Chapters and were perusing their ample magazine section, and I came across a couple of knitting magazines (and some beading ones). There were some great modern patterns (none of that family stuck in the seventies looking sweaters that litter the yarn aisle in just about every store).
So, now I am really excited, I grab a KNITS, and a beading magazine, and at home as I am trying to decide what sweater I want to make next, I come across an ad for colourful stitches ... in it the girl is all smiling in her new scarf, mittens, and toque. What is around her neck? A pentacle. It is a sign! Pagan Knitters Unite! LOL
