... so, it wasn't just a few days, like I originally thought. I would say that it is a safe bet that I won't be around much until January.
The new computer is having virus and spyware issues because the version of windows (2000) that it came with is already infested (and it blocks downloading of virus software, of course), and since Microsoft has decreed that you can't have two computers with the same version of Windows XP on it (lousy !@#$%^), we may have to buy an new OS ($250).![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wintersdark is going to try a few more things and hopefully it will all work out for the best. Funny how a new computer always comes with more problems than the old one.
