Killing Ourselves in New and Interesting Ways ...

... a couple months back, I find out about the wonders of Teflon Poisoning, and how the chemicals you ingest everytime you use non-stick cookware, never break down and can be passed to your children ... needless to say, I now only use the stainless steal skillet.

But, if that weren't enough, I hear, yesterday, of a new study that suggests that antibacterial soaps are damaging our water supplies by continuing to kill all the bacteria present in the water (as in, they don't break down either) ... even the good little buggies who attack the chemical pollutants.

It makes me wonder if anyone other than me cares more about the planet than the latest brand of cleaning products. Bleh.
