Feelin' Spacey Again ...
... the last little while, I have noticed that when people are talking to me I get kind of wrapped up watching them talk ... so much so that when they pause to let me respond, I realize that I haven't heard anything they say. This is common for me when I am listening to someone and doing something else (like reading or watching TV), I will instinctively tune them out, but it is strange for it to happen while I am looking right at them. It is like my mind turns my ears off or something (I can hear them speaking, but it isn't registering as anything other than noise).
It happens when I am reading as well ... one word will jump start my mind, and it will wander off on me ... I keep reading, but at the bottom of the page I notice that I haven't absorbed anything for the last few paragraphs.
I have been trying to mediate more, and I have started doing yoga again ... though, I am not sure if either of those things are to blame ... it isn't that I don't get enough sleep ... I sleep for between nine and ten hours a night. I am just strange, I guess.
