The Gratitude Project - Four More Should Get Me Caught Up
Mmmmkay ... so, I am gonna TRY and start doing this everyday again rather than every couple of days.
First -
I am grateful for ... modern medicine. My poor WintersDark is having problems with his heart today. I am very worried about him ... but not as much as I would be if there were no aspirin (which keeps his blood thin enough to keep moving while his heart decides on a rhythm).
Second -
I am grateful for small favours. Those unexpected little bits of good luck that brighten your day. After our car was finished being fixed, we found that it cost a full $300 dollars less than we had been expecting. Yay, a little bit of extra money! A little bit over and above bill payments and grocery shopping ... I can't remember the last time that happened.
Third -
I am grateful for coffee ... I know that isn't a very good one, but it truly does make a difference in my day to day life. It helps me to eat less, keeps my asthma in check, and helps me get up early to enjoy the beautiful peaceful mornings we have here in BC.
Fourth -
I am grateful for the winds of change. I am a bit of procrastinator (could you tell?), and without that extra little push from the Universe, I think that I likely wouldn't keep to many of the plans I make ... I am an idea girl after all ... and occasionally, I tend to lack follow-thru.
