I was going to post about this last night, but my mind was elsewhere. Day two was also crazy easy. We watched a bunch more presentations and learned about the actual software tools we will be using. And we had a 'midterm' exam.
Actually writing this test has boosted my confidence *way* high (and I don't even have my marks back yet). I know now that this is going to be a crazy easy job, and I am really damned smart even though I haven't been to college or have a degree in whatever one would need a degree in to be an email CSR.
The emails I get through my website are harder to answer than the majority of the questions I will be recieving. I will have to toughen my tolerance for chatspeak (and the semi-illiterate crap that passes for flame mail these days), but on the whole, this is going to be a great job.
I have the energy to walk home at night and it isn't some sort of partially dead trudge where you legs keep moving even after your mind stops telling them to. It isn't a particularly long walk (somewhere between 15-20 min), and it is all down hill, but I suspect that it will really help me lose those last few pounds.
Now what I need to do is get myself a lunch box/bag of some kind. I'd rather not buy my food every night, though, with the Safeway right there, I could have a healthy salad or sandwich. But there is also pizza right there and they are only a $1 a slice (and a fabulous indian restaurant just down the street, and chinese food, and and and ...).
So again, yay!
