Well, my mini-vacation last week was more or less a partial success. I wanted to get a second-hand wood table and chairs, so that I could paint them and in-lay stone tiling (mosiac-style) into the table-top. Unfortunately, no where around here had anything that was even close to appropriate for what I wanted. And of course, flee-market season doesn't start for a few more months. So that was a bust.

We did manage to rearrange the living room, giving us a lot more room (and me the ability to take up yoga again), but the style of chairs I wanted to replace the couch with are no longer in style, and are nearly impossible to find. Only partially twarted there.

We spent most of Valentine's Day searching for something that would give me a home improvement project for the week. No luck. I was a little depressed at the prospect of turning another year older, and not having anything to put my energy into (I like to do what I can to make this place look nicer since I hate this apartment with a passion, and it will be another year at least before we can move). But the day wasn't a total loss. WD wanted to do something to make me feel better, so when we stopped to take a look at some jewelry, he bought me a diamond engagement ring right there. That definitely lifted my mood since I have been waiting two years to the day (from when he first asked me to marry him) to find one.

I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday. It was pretty fun. I didn't do much since WD ended up being very sick that day, but my brother came over with chocolate ice cream pie and wine, so I still had fun. Unfortunately, I now have WD's cold, and am feeling pretty lousy ... but I intend to take it easy today and read some more of Evolutionary Witchcraft.

You scored as Celtic Pantheonic Pagan. Your answers leaned very close to that of the Celtic Pantheon. Very popular now among pagans, the Celtic Gods seem to draw those who are sensitive and insightful, but also very passionate about their beliefs. Many Pagan Holidays are named for this pantheon and here is where you'll find many stories on Horned God, Green Man, and Druids. You likely either have been or want to visit Stonehenge one day. Many Arthurian legnds include references to the Celtic faith, as well.
