I owe four more ... so on the Equinox, I am contemplating what I am grateful for:
1) I am grateful for my fiance. He is a wonderful man who is always so sweet and helpful to me (especially when I am stressing over cooking a big meal).
2) I am grateful for the return of the sunshine. It has been gray for the last few days, and a little surreal ... it makes me feel a lot more present when it is sunny (I know that sounds weird, but hey, I am weird :oP)
3) I am grateful for my friends and family (the ones who still talk to me anyway). There has been a lot of drama and controversy going around lately, so it is good to be out of the path of all of that, and in a more light hearted environment.
4) I am grateful for the fall and the harvest in general. My Mabon dinner was terrific, and the apple crumble was super yummy. Everything was timed perfectly, and all of the fresh, real food (as opposed to instant lazy food) ... there really is nothing like it. It tastes clean, and nourishing in a way that processed food just never can. Fall is my favorite season, and I think that today has been a good start.
Now ... what do I want to be for Halloween??? LOL
