Ok, nearest book really isn't a book (though, I intend to count it as one on the 50 book challenge), it is my complimentary issue of The Pomegranate: International Journal of Pagan Studies. Fifth sentance on page 123 reads as follows:
Perhaps because of their high mobility, many Indo-Europeans also had few large-scale sanctuary structures.
