Well, I meant to write yesterday what I was grateful for, but I guess I forgot. So, for yesterday, I guess my grateful thought is for a busy statutory holiday. One of the only holiday times of the year that actually has a big turn out. And, much to my surprise, the motion of grabbing and scanning actually helped to loosen the muscles in my shoulders.

Today, I am grateful that the admissions fee has dropped. It was a nice surprise ... especially since I happened in on registration day (which made the college an absolute mad house), and had to wait in line for nearly half an hour.

I am SO very excited to be going back to school. It is sometimes hard to believe that after having so many stupid little things screw up my chances so many times before, I will actually be a student this time. Everything looks a little brighter.

My First Doll

After having searched the web for tutorials on making my own dollz, and discovering that I am truly not interested in learning to draw them from scratch, I have decided that even though the copyright thing on the Candybar dolls hasn't realy been sorted out ... there is nothing stopping me from playing with them on my own time ... and in feeling the need to share, I have decided to post my efforts here.

So here is my first attempt (I changed the hair and drew the missing shoe ... the rest is a dollmaker job):
