These are from [livejournal.com profile] paperspirit :

1. Have you traveled outside of Canada?

Actually, I have ... I was born in Washington state (and lived there off and on until I was 9 or 10), and I have been to Kansas, Oregon and California on various family vacations ~_^

2. How do you define hedgewitch and low magic?

Well, for me hedgecraft is a lot like the cunningcraft of the old days (with a bit more of a shamanic bent). Low magic is the charms and potions and inscences and poppets and cords and the spells that don't require full ritual, special tools or poetry (not that that stuff isn't fun sometimes too).

3. How many tarot decks do you own?

3 ... I inherited the Hanson Roberts deck from my mom (though, I don't think I have ever used that one. I don't care for the imagery) I bought the Sacred Circle Tarot with the money I got from my very first summer job; and I just recently treated myself to the Pagan Tarot (I love the modern imagery on that one).

I would love to get more, but I am wishywashy when it comes to my money; there are lots of things that I want, and things that I have to actively look for often get pushed to the bottom of the list.

4. How did you first become aware that there are folks who call themselves witches in this day and age?

It was actually a documentary on A&E that I watched when I was about 13 or 14. I was a little shocked to find out that Witches weren't just creatures out of fairytales. It was an interesting show, but it didn't really spark an interest at the time (I was trying to be an athiest then). It did, however, stay in the back of my mind when found myself looking through druidry info online three years later.

5. What Celtic myth "speaks" to you the most?

Oh, that's a tough one. I love the legend of CuCuhulain. The part where the Morrigan sits on his shoulder and wails her sorrow for his death even though she is the one who brought it about, is really powerful for me. I think that it shows that even though she isn't always the softest of people, that she does have deep feelings and she isn't just out to screw around with the mortals because she can (that sort of a tone really bugs me in some (specifically Greek) mythic retellings).

And for those who missed it the first time:

1 -- Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 -- I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 -- You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 -- You'll include this explanation.
5 -- You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
