I can't say that I have been a good little dieter and have actually stuck to the plan. But I figure as long as I am still losing weight, I am doing something right.
It may infact have something to do with the fact that I am writing more. When I wrote my first novel length story, I lost a ton of weight then too because I was occupied with other things, so I kind of forgot to eat. Now, I am doing different things at work, and running around doing stuff and planning for the upcoming harvest sabbats, so I get to the end of the day and go, 'crap! I forgot to eat! Too tired to cook, going to bed instead'
I am managing to keep my blood sugar level (so I don't have any nasty side effects). I have to say that I think that it was the diet that kick-started my metabolism so that while I am not really eating a lot (still trying to eat properly and still off the junk food for the most part), I am still losing rather than falling into starvation mode and gaining.
Either way, I am happy now, and will be happy when I finally fit into my 'end goal' jeans (that haven't fit me for about six years now). One more jeans size to go! *happydance*
I should get out and excercise more too. That will be on my list for the next phase of weight loss.
